In 1993, His Holiness was confirmed Supreme Head of the Nyingmapa, having been unanimously nominated by Nyingmapa monasteries all over the world. In the year 2001, he resigned and passed this responsibility on to Minling Terchen Rinpoche. Penor
Rinpoche is the embodiment of profound wisdom and limitless
compassion. He works ceaseslessly for the dharma and the benefit of
others. In recent years he has traveled the world spreading the dharma
and establishing meditation centers. We have recorded a number of his
activities in the U.S. since 1985, most recently in Austin Texas, where
he bestowed the entire cycle of the Nam Chö Empowerments. |
